Finding a train

Tap the search bar at the top and enter a station, or a route (from/to). Matching services appear as a list you can tap to start tracking.

Last train alert

Never miss the last train home. Open Last train alert from the menu (top left) or the map's Functions button, enter a From and To station, and get a live countdown plus an alert before the last service on that route leaves.

Share live link

Tap Share live link on a train's panel to send a link anyone can open to follow that train live — perfect for "I'm on this one, pick me up at the station". No account needed.

Why results start sparse

Darwin (the national rail data feed) only publishes each train's schedule once, roughly 4 hours before it departs -- not the whole day at once. Coverage genuinely grows through the day; this banner explains it when it shows up, rather than it just looking broken.

Tracking a train

Tap any train dot on the map, or a search result, to open its live details: current position, delay status, and its full stop-by-stop journey.

What the frames mean

Search results and departure board rows have a frame that tells you whether the train can be seen on the map.

• Solid green frame — live position found. Tap it to jump to the train on the map.
• Dashed amber frame — a train is reporting this headcode, but it isn't confirmed as this service yet. Headcodes are reused during the day, so the position may be a different train.
• Thin plain frame — no live position yet, usually because the train hasn't set off.

What the rings around trains mean

The ring around a train on the map shows how punctual it is. The pattern carries the meaning too, so you don't need to tell the colours apart. The train's own colour shows its operator.

• Solid green ring — on time (less than 2 minutes late)
• Long orange dashes — 2 to 9 minutes late
• Short red dashes — 10 minutes or more late
• Fine dark red dots — cancelled
• No ring — no estimate published for it yet

Near me

Tap "Near me" in the sidebar to see the next departures from whichever station is closest to your current location.

Favorites

Star a station or a saved search to keep it one tap away in the Favorites section, instead of searching for it again each time.

Delays & service alerts

The Delays section lists services currently running late or cancelled, and can filter to just those. Service alerts shows official notices affecting the network right now.

Following a train

Turn on "Follow selected train" in the map's Functions menu to keep the map automatically centered on your tracked train as it moves.

Dark mode

Use the Light/Dark toggle in the header to switch themes at any time; your choice is remembered for next time.
